and the samsung galaxy mega 5.8(I9152) by early in this june. They are going to be launched in india for rs.25,100 and 31,490.
The samsung galaxy mega 6.3 supports 4G and runs on the android 4.2 OS with TouchWiz user interface.The 6.3 inch TFT screen supports resolution of 1280×720 pixels (HD) i.e. with 233ppi. The RAM is 1.5GB and you can choose from 8GB or 16GB as internal storage (price will vary accordingly).This handset is powered by 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual core processor with Adreno 305 GPU.
The camera is of an 8MP resolution with LED flash and another camera on the front of 1.9MP resolution.Other features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, micro UBS, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack. For this massive handset a 3200 mAh Li-ion battery is used, that should easily give a usage time of over day. Samsung has launched its Galaxy Mega large screen smartphones in the Indian market. The Galaxy Mega 5.8 will be available across the country within a week from today for a price of Rs. 25,100 while the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be available in mid-June for a MRP of Rs. 31,490.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 is a dual-SIM device that has a 5.8-inch screen with qHD(540x960 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor alongside 1.5GB RAM and features an 8-megapixel rear camera, as well as a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The phone comes with 8GB expandable storage and has a 2,600mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Just like the samsung galaxy grand the Mega 5.8 also comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and can record full HD videos. There is a front camera too of 2MP resolution. The handset supports 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. It also houses a 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port.
The battery is of 2600 mAh capacity. The box pack contains the handset, battery, headset, data cable, travel charger and user guide. There is no flip cover included, would have been great if they did. The handset could carry a price tag of more than the galaxy grand.
